| It's just a regular DVD-rom and CDrom/writer.. it is no specific type of cd burner, it's just a Slimtype COMBO LSC-24082K. I don't really know where to search for a driver/upgrade/firmware (not sure what firmware is). It disappeared from Explorer a week or two ago, and I had to delete the Upper and Lower filters from the registry, then went into BIOS to make sure that it popped up as a device that I was able to boot from, which it was. Then, it started to show up in Explorer again..
This burning problem has been there for at least a year, but I'm just now trying to fix it. It burned two cds yesterday, then just starting having an error around 45-47%. It's fucking annoying. |
